Surface treatment
Rinse off salt and other water-soluble contaminants with clean water.
Remove grease in accordance with SSPC-SP1 solvent cleaning standards.
Remove weld spatter and smooth welds and burrs.
Remove rust, scale and damaged shop primer by sandblasting to ISO Sa2.5 (SSPC-SP10) or use power tools to prepare the surface to ISO St3.0.
Use high-pressure air to blow away dust and other contaminants.
Make sure the surface is clean and dry before construction.

Construction instructions
1. Instructions for use: Stir or use a power mixer to mix the two components completely. Remix thoroughly before use. Freshly mixed materials cannot be mixed with previously mixed materials. The curing speed depends on temperature. Ventilation conditions, film thickness, humidity, dilution and other factors will affect the drying rate. The mixing temperature of the base material and curing agent must be higher than 15°C, otherwise diluent should be added to achieve the required viscosity for construction. Too much diluent will reduce anti-sagging and slow down curing, and reduce film thickness. Diluent should be added after mixing. The actual coating rate should deduct about 5%–25% loss (depending on different construction).
2. Construction: The surface of the coated object needs to be treated. Steel with oxide scale: sandblasting to Sa2.5, surface roughness 30-75μm, or pickling, neutralization, passivation; Steel without oxide scale: sandblasting to Sa2.5, or grinding to St3 with pneumatic or electric elastic grinding wheel; Steel with shop primer: secondary rust removal of paint film damage, rust and white rust on zinc primer, remove all white rust and grind to St3. When exposed to atmospheric
conditions, the minimum temperature of the substrate is 5℃ and the maximum is 45℃ and 3℃ higher than the dew point. The relative humidity is <85%. Construction is strictly prohibited in fog, rain, snow and strong winds.
Brush/roller: Only for small areas, apply the mixture to the treated surface. If necessary, add 0-5% epoxy thinner for easy operation. When brushing or rolling, brushing is required multiple times to achieve the required thickness.
Air spray: Generally no dilution is required, but for ease of use, a maximum of 0-5% epoxy thinner can be added.
Airless spraying: Generally, no dilution is required, but for ease of use, epoxy thinner can be added up to 0-5%.
The pressure ratio is 23:1 or 32:1, and the nozzle is 0.43-0.48mm.
Overcoating: Appropriate methods should be used to detect whether the previous coating is peeling, such as the cross-scratching method or the grid-scratching method. If it is peeling, the aged coating should be removed. The surface must be free of grease, oil and other pollutants.
Back-end matching coating: epoxy middle layer paint, epoxy asphalt, polyurethane, chlorinated rubber
Tool cleaning: Use epoxy thinner
3. Stir this product evenly before use, add curing agent according to the weight ratio, and mature for half an hour (at 25°C) before construction.
4. Use airless spraying for construction. Spray once, the wet film thickness is 100~150μm, and the dry film thickness is 50-80μm. It can also be brushed or rolled, and it needs to be painted 2-3 times.
5. The theoretical dosage of this product is about 314g/m2.
6. Post-process matching paint: epoxy micaceous iron anti-rust paint, iron red epoxy anti-rust paint, epoxy zinc phosphate anti-rust paint, epoxy aluminum tripolyphosphate anti-rust paint, epoxy asphalt super thick paste anti-rust paint, epoxy asphalt thick paste anti-rust paint, etc. But it cannot be used in conjunction with oily, alkyd, and polyester paints.
7. Precautions
A. This product is a flammable item. It is strictly prohibited to use fireworks or bring in fire during construction. The construction environment must be well ventilated.
B. This product and curing agent should be prepared and used immediately. The curing agent should be used up within 2 hours after addition. It is taboo to pour the remaining paint back into the original paint.
The temperature of the CC substrate must be higher than the dew point temperature by more than 3°C. When the temperature is below 5°C, the reaction between the paint and the curing agent stops, so it is not suitable for construction.
D. The relative humidity is not more than 85%. Construction should be stopped when it rains or the ambient humidity is very high.
E. The shelf life of the product is 1 year
