Waterborne polyurethane matte varnish is a two-component waterborne polyurethane coating based on Bayer's waterborne polyurethane products bayhydrol and bayhydur from Germany. It has excellent chemical resistance, flexibility, wear resistance, scratch resistance, weather resistance, as well as environmental friendliness and low VOC content. It can be used for varnishing of polyurethane self-leveling and epoxy self-leveling floor coatings. It is suitable for occasions with high requirements for the beauty and comfort of the ground, for occasions with high requirements for the elasticity, wear resistance, and scratch resistance of the floor, and for occasions with high requirements for the chemical resistance of the floor, including: civil floors such as offices, schools, libraries, hospitals, stadiums, showrooms, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. Industrial floors such as laboratories, production workshops, packaging areas, warehouses, etc. in industries such as electrical appliances, electronics, automobiles, machinery, casting, textiles, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food, beverages, feed, and tobacco.

Construction reference
Surface treatment
● For all new and old concrete floors, the concrete strength must reach C25 or above. The surface stains, loose soil, moisture, loose old paint film and other attachments must be completely removed until the solid concrete is exposed. For concrete contaminated by chemicals or other substances, they should be removed until the solid concrete is exposed. Make the surface clean, dry and flat.

● Old floors with paint
Completely grind away loose or incompatible old coatings to expose the concrete surface. Clean, dry and intact compatible coatings do not need to be removed.

● Oily floors
Oil stains will seriously affect the adhesion of floor coatings to the base surface. Oily floors must be completely cleaned and polished.

● New concrete floors
Make sure the floor has exceeded the maintenance period and the moisture content of the floor is less than 6%. It is critical to use mobile sandblasting tools and grinding equipment to treat the concrete surface to achieve the correct surface roughness.

Paint mixing method
After fully stirring component A, pour component B into component A according to the specified ratio, then stir evenly with a special stirrer, and dilute with water to the construction viscosity. This product should be prepared as needed, and should be used up within the use period to avoid waste of gel.
Construction conditions
Painting environment temperature range: 5~35℃. The base surface temperature is at least 3℃ higher than the air dew point temperature.
Painting environment humidity range: Relative humidity is less than 75%.
Ventilation conditions: Air circulation must be maintained during construction to facilitate the evaporation of water. Compulsory measures must be taken in poorly ventilated environments. This is an important guarantee for the success of construction. Otherwise, the coating is prone to whitening, poor adhesion, low hardness and other drawbacks.

Design Specifications
Water-based polyurethane matte varnish is a two-component paint, divided into components A and B.
Mixing ratio: A:B=5:1
Amount of water added: According to the viscosity requirements during construction, an appropriate amount of water can be added for dilution, but the amount of water added cannot exceed 10% of the total
Applicable time: 1 hour, the paint is required to be used up within 1 hour.
Recoating interval: The minimum recoating interval is after the coating film is completely dry, and the maximum recoating interval is 24 hours after the coating film is completely dry.
Construction method: Generally, roller coating is used for construction, and brushing or spraying can also be used.
Construction dosage: The dosage is 0.08~0.12 kg/square, and the dry film thickness is 35~50 microns.
Construction environment requirements: Temperature: 5~35℃, the substrate temperature is at least 3℃ higher than the air dew point temperature, relative humidity: less than 75%
Tool cleaning: Can be directly cleaned with water
Construction guidance
The surface to be applied must be clean and free of visible water, and the application should be carried out within the recoating interval of the topcoat.
First, stir material A evenly with an electric mixer at low speed (300 rpm), add material B according to the specified ratio, and then stir with an electric mixer at low speed for 3 to 5 minutes, let it stand for 10 to 20 minutes, and then start the application after the bubbles are basically eliminated.
To prevent missing coating, it is recommended to apply the coating in two coats, and apply the second coat after the first coat of coating is completely dry.
Shelf life
From the date of production, if stored according to the storage conditions, the shelf life of the product is 12 months.
Storage and transportation
The paint should be sealed and stored in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place, avoiding high temperature and fire.
During transportation, the environment of the carriage should be dry and closed, the materials should be stacked stably, and the relevant regulations should be met.

● Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

● If paint comes into contact with skin, wash with warm water and/or an appropriate detergent. If paint comes into contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical attention immediately.

● Ensure good ventilation.

● Paint contains flammable substances. Please keep away from sparks and prohibit smoking in the vicinity.

● Comply with all health and safety regulations on site.
